I recently had a follower on Twitter ask me a few questions about mascaras to use if you have red hair and fair skin, which inspired me to do a whole post on my favorite products for fair skin. So shout out to Penny if she is reading this!

Foundations:

-Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer SPF 20 in Porcelain

-Laura Mercier silk crème foundation in Cream Ivory

I love both of these foundations so much on their own, but even more when mixed together. Throughout the whole winter I still used the tinted moisturizer because I love that it has SPF in it. I really like mixing these because the silk crème foundation is very full coverage…maybe a little too full coverage for me.

So, I’m one of those girls that has never been able to have ‘shower and go’ hair! And it drives me crazy!! I either have to style it straight or style in wavy/curly! So naturally, I have an unhealthy amount of hair products! What can I say, I like to test the waters!

So on those days when I don’t feel like dealing with the whole blow dry and flat iron routine, or I feel like my hair needs a little break, I’ll style in curly. And I’ve found some really great products in the process!

Being your (almost) typical student, I absolutely love a bargain and there are bargain sites everywhere that allow me to buy things slightly cheaper than I would normally get them in a store.

However, during my bargain hunting, I’ve noticed that there are more and more fake MAC cosmetics being bought by people who think they are the real deal. Some of these products look ridiculously fake to those of us familiar with MAC, but some look like they could be geniune. And if you aren’t a complete MAC junkie like us here at Facekitt or if you’re just getting started with MAC products you might think you are getting a bargain when you are in fact throwing your money away on something that might not even be safe to use.
