ULTA Salon Formula Nail Polish : Blue Streak

Photo acquired from google

Happy Sunday Addicts! Today is a beautiful nail day! I hauled a few things from Ulta a few weeks ago & I figured I would tell you guys about an amazing affordable purchase I made and have been addicted to! This may be a quick post because all I have to say is mostly fabulous things! Now all of us know that feeling of purchasing something  that does not melt our credit cards when it’s swiped, but even more so when the product is actually something of worth! When I went to ULTA I moonwalked toward the sale area, and they had Nail Polishes on buy 1, get 1.  I never tried ULTA polishes because I’m definitely an OPI, China Glaze, Julep, Butter of London, Deborah Lipman… snob. However, because they were B1G1 I decided to pick two up (Blue Streak & Peach Parfait)! I decided to paint my toes peach parfait and it was just okay, but I fell head over toes in love with Blue Streak, and I’m not usually a fan of blue on my nails. . .

Shu Uemura vs Duo Lash Glue

Every girl who loves wearing lashes must own a decent tube of lash glue to prevent you from those embarrassing fall out lash moments. The trick to wearing lashes is to allow the glue to dry to a tacky consistency before putting it on. I’ve been an avid user to the duo adhesive brand for ages, that’s my one and only tube and it never fails on me. I borrowed my sister’s lash glue for 2 week and tried it out to see if there’s any differences between both of them. So let’s bounce to the review! Read More

Review: Dior 5 Couleurs Garden Edition , 841 Garden Roses

Review: Dior 5 Couleurs Garden Edition , 841 Garden Roses

For Valentines Day this year my husband kindly bought me one of the Dior 5 Couleurs from their Spring 2012 collection. It is named Garden Party and he got me 841 Garden Roses which is violet and pink toned. There is only one other 5 Couleur palette in this collection which is 441 Garden Pastels and it has what Dior calls ’luminous green’ tones. They are limited edition palettes.

Now that I have used these eye-shadows a few times I thought I would bring Facekitt readers a review of them in order for you to decide if it is worth spending your money on as this palette as it is rather expensive. Depending on where you buy this it ranges in price from around £38-£40 in the UK and on Sephora.com this palette is priced at $59.

So is it worth the money?  I think that is the main question with regards to this product. I very much appreciate receiving this as a gift, in fact it is safe to say I was over the moon, but I still want to bring Facekitt readers an honest review. Therefore, if you would like to find out my opinion on this Dior 5 Couleur palette then please read on.

Dry to Moisturized : Hair & Skin Nectar

Photo acquired from google

Today I had a random beauty reminder from the elements! It’s been a little chilly lately in FL – sunny, but the wind has been brutal to my hair and skin! There is nothing worse than having dry skin and hair and having to go outside when the sun is out in full force while the icy wind is trying to blow you over….am I in Florida? As soon as I got home I decided I needed an intervention! My hair & skin were going to go through an intense moisturizing session regardless how distracted or tired I was! … After the 2 hour process I knew I HAD to share this experience with your guys because my skin is as soft as after a spa day – and my hair is  flowing and shiny as a hair care commercial model! Toot Toot!

I know this may not be a new thing for most of you, so think of this post as a very important reminder – keep your entire self hydrated! The magic oil – EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) is so versatile that it can pretty much be used for everything within the beauty galaxy!  You can use it to remove makeup, soothe razor bumps, add it to body washes, condition your cuticles, and in this particular instance increase the moisture levels in your hair and enhance the texture of your skin! #TeamProEVOO

After spending the entire day in the brutal heat and whipping wind I ran inside for a homemade spa treatment! – Time to let you guys in on my little secret! Read More
