Product Review: Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner

During the past few months, I have worked my way through various shampoo and conditioners.  I have been experimenting with different brands to find a new shampoo and conditioner for my damaged hair.  After going through many salon and drugsto

re brands and being satisfied with them, but not thrilled, I decided to try Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner.

Pictured below, these products, the shampoo and the conditioner, have absolutely changed my hair, and the change was noticeable after one use.  I color and flat iron my hair routinely, so I need a shampoo that will protect color treated hair, but also moisturize fried hair.   Read More

Another Haul

I do not think that any of the writers are still doing project pan (correct me if I’m wrong ladies), but I chose not to participate.  And that is mainly because I knew I would not be able to stick with it.  Basically I love to shop way too much, but it is good for you guys because then you have things to read, like this post.  So let’s get into what I’ve recently purchased…

Linda’s Project Pan Products #2 and 3: The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner

First off, I would like to confess that I have cheated (a little) on Project Pan. Only because I hated my current shampoo and conditioner and was really craving a trip to Lush, so figured I may as well pick up a shampoo here I actually like (and works for my hair), and curb my shopaholic needs. I didn’t get a conditioner because I am still trying to save money, and I had a full bottle of Tresemme Conditioner at home, but I would have had literally no shampoo so I needed to get some. Now, I didn’t quite finish these products I’m going to review, but I did give them a decent try, used about 3/4 of the bottle of shampoo and 1/4 of the conditioner (yes the conditioner was THAT bad), but I decided to include it because it literally will be thrown out and hit the bottom of my garbage very soon, and I thought it needed a review so no one makes the same mistake that I did. So for the sake of this post, I completely finished it, deal? ;)

The products I “finished” were The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner. Read on if you want to hear just why I hated these products and will not be repurchasing them again…

After Christmas Haul

I hope everyone had a great holiday! My post today will be on things I got/spent my money on for Christmas.  I’m so lucky to have amazing family and friends who definitely spoiled me rotten this year.  Let’s get started…

Matrix Total Results Amplify set

Now my hair is not fine, but the recent haircut I got I had my hair thinned a little bit so it wouldn’t be so bulky and my hair can sometimes look limp.  I never really volumize my hair, which is why I am so excited to try out this shampoo, conditioner, and root lifter.

Treat Your Hair to Enjoy’s Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner!

Way back “in the day”, when I started using Leave-in Conditioners, and falling in love with them, my mom give me Enjoy Leave-in Conditioner because she didn’t like it. Don’t you love it when moms do that?? I used that product everyday. I loved the way it smelled, I love how soft it made my color treated hair feel, and it didn’t weigh it down or add any extra grease the next day. Sounds like perfection right? Well, when I went to re-purchase the product, I couldn’t find it anywhere!! I was so disappointed. Finally, I found a different product to replace it that I love. But that’s a story for a different day!

A few months back, I was leisurely strolling down the hair aisles in ULTA, looking for something useless to spend too much money on, and there it was. A deacon of hope in the world of crappy hair products: Enjoy hair care!! I must have jumped in excitement and I knew I had to buy my beloved Leave-in Conditioner. Problem was, I had just bought a new bottle of the other product, so I didn’t need any just yet. But I did need a new Shampoo and Conditioner. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the products I was using before, but I had just started highlighting my hair again and needed something more. I decided on Enjoy’s Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner, and I am so happy I did! Read More
