Review: MAC's Painterly Pot

Recently, I made a trip to MAC, hoping to find a few new eye shadows

and maybe a lip gloss.  Well, I got all of that and one of MAC’s paint pots, Painterly to be exact.  At first, I thought it was an eye shadow primer, and I was ready to decline; I have so many primers that range from drug store brand to high end that it would be a shame to buy another.  However, after talking with one of the store attendants, she told me it’s highly pigmented, but also works with other shadows and liners.  It helps shadow stay on and works with the shadow to create a new dimension to your eye shadows. Little Glass Bottle: MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer

My recent favorite concealer is by MAC called Pro Longwear. If you apply it using Sephora’s concealer brush #56 it can make it look as if you have flawless skin! I love it.

I would say it lasts for a full eight hour when I apply this face primer

and finishing powder when using this concealer. This concealer is medium to full coverage which is the kind of coverage I like. MAC has other lighter options for concealer but I have not tried them out yet.

Remember to purchase a concealer that is one shade lighter than your current skin tone so when you apply your foundation it will cover the spots you are trying to cover. Also concealer can also use to contour your face like area the eye area

and underneath your eyes.

Review: MAC Brush Cleanser

Is it just me or is finding a good brush cleanser surprisingly hard to do?! I feel like I’ve always been searching for a ‘better’ brush cleanser than the one I had and I keep falling short… After trying a bunch of

not so good cleansers I think I’ve found the perfect one for me.

For the past while I’ve just been using the simple olive oil and shampoo, but I never seemed to be able to get the right balance. I either didn’t dip it in enough olive oil, and the bristles were dry, or I put too much olive oil and I had to re-wash them because they were too greasy. It would clean them well, because the oil would break up the dirt, but it just seemed like an annoying process to me.

Review: MAC Added Goodness Fluidline

After having this product for about 2 months now, I’ve finally come to an opinion about it… And yes it really did take me this long! I was back and forth constantly about whether or not I liked it. Keep reading if you

want to know what my final rating of this was…
