My Top 12 Beauty Products of 2012

Boy did 2012 just fly by?! Last year we did a collaborative post on our most used products of 2011 and this year I figured I would switch it up a little bit. I’ve seen this tag going order viagra online around on YouTube and thought it would make a good post.

I’m not going to go into any details at all because I did posts on all of the products mentioned below and will have links. So let’s see what my viagra in india top 12 of 2012 are… Read More

My Beauty Christmas Wish List

I don’t know about you all, but I spend quite a bit of time working on my Christmas lists and I think both of my parents would agree that I have it down to an art. My Christmas lists don’t look like a last minute scramble written on scrap paper (

see below to see what a typical list of mine looks like). Starting in middle school I made my lists on my computer including pictures of my dream presents along with prices and where to get them. I even remember my dad telling me once that he showed off one of my lists to a fellow passenger on a plane and they were impressed. Surprising last year I did not do my normal list, I must have too stressed with school. Anyway, here are the beauty products I’m asking for Christmas this year.

Benefit High Flyin' Glosses Set

Happy almost Thanksgiving everyone! Last week I took advantage of the Sephora VIB sale and bought some Christmas gifts…but of course I had to get something for myself. How could I not, right?! I find myself on the Sephora website quite a lot and I make wish lists in my head constantly. So when I saw that Benefit had put together a holiday set with all the colors of their ultra plush lip glosses, I could not

resist.

What happens at a Benefit Cosmetics Interview/Audition!

What happens at a Benefit Cosmetics Interview/Audition!

A few months ago I sent a speculative application to Benefit for a Beauty Consultant role. They were looking for ‘…..candidates with personality, pizzazz and bags of enthusiasm’ and stated that ‘previous experience in beauty, sales or customer se

rvice will be an advantage’. When I didn’t hear back I assumed that there were either no jobs available or they hadn’t liked my application.

Then, a couple of weeks ago, I was leaving a university exam and got a call. It was someone from Benefit asking if I had time to do a phone interview. Despite the fact I was walking up a steep hill to my car I said yes, and passed! The next stage was what Benefit call an ‘audition’. If you’ve ever thought about applying to Benefit or are just interested to hear what goes on in an audition, please keep reading! (Be warned, this may be quite wordy!!)

Benefit’s Watt’s Up Highlighter Plus A Benefit First

Benefit launched Watt’s Up in October 2011 and I’ve been eyeing it since then.  This is not Benefit’s first highlighter, as they have Girl Meets Pearl, High Beam, Moon Beam, and Sun Beam in their product line.  What makes Watt’s Up different is that it’s not a liquid and the consistency is more of a cream to powder finish.

My Makeup Wish List

Every few months or so I make a wish list of products I would like to purchase within the next couple of months.  I did this over the summer and I bought all but two products on my list.  A lot of the time I find myself loving items on Sephora.com or wanting so many things YouTube beauty gurus talk about.  So here is my list of items I hope to purchase soon…

1)   Benefit’s Watt’s Up highlighter ($30)- I absolutely love Benefit’s high beam highlighter so when I heard they created a more champagne colored highlighter, I’ve been wanting it forever.  Not too many people have talked about this product, but the concept is very cool.  This goes from a cream to powder finish, which I know I will like better than high beam because it’s very goopy.

Splurge or Steal?

photo found on google

Now that Christmas is over and New Year’s has come and gone, if you’re like me, one of your New Years Resolutions is to try new products. That may seem silly, I mean, a resolution to try new products? But personally, I love being able to play around with makeup and figure out what products work and what don’t. Not only does it allow me to write reviews, but it allows me to possibly find staple items to add to my cosmetic collection. I’m sure you have seen “splurge or steal”posts on various beauty blogs, and I decided to do a version of my own. So keep reading if you want to see my list of splurges and steals (high end/drug store products) that I think you should try out this year! Read More
