My Beauty Christmas Wish List

I don’t know about you all, but I spend quite a bit of time working on my Christmas lists and I think both of my parents would agree that I have it down to an art. My Christmas lists don’t look like a last minute scramble written on scrap paper (

see below to see what a typical list of mine looks like). Starting in middle school I made my lists on my computer including pictures of my dream presents along with prices and where to get them. I even remember my dad telling me once that he showed off one of my lists to a fellow passenger on a plane and they were impressed. Surprising last year I did not do my normal list, I must have too stressed with school. Anyway, here are the beauty products I’m asking for Christmas this year.

The Best and Only Makeup Bag You Will Ever Need

I talked about this cosmetic bag in a video I made for “what I carry in my travel makeup bag for spring break post” and I still love this makeup bag as much as I did then, now. So now, please let me explain why I love this bag.

bareMinerals READY SPF 15 Touch Up Veil Review

Awhile ago I talked about how I wanted to get a pressed powder and about a month ago I did just that.  I eyed the bareMinerals READY SPF 15 Touch Up Veil in Translucent a few times at Sephora, but bought it on a whim at Ulta in early September. Here is what I think about this product:

Real Techniques: A review

I have been watching Sam Chapman and Nic Haste (Pixiwoo) on Youtube for a while now and I have always been intrigued by the tools they use, most specifically their brushes. Samantha (Sam) Chapman created her own line of “Real Techniques” brus

hes and both she and Nic use them in the majority of their tutorials ranging from shadow brushes to foundation brushes to powder brushes, etc. It’s really hard to find good quality makeup brushes without breaking the bank so when I discovered that these brushes averaged around $10 I was ecstatic.

Products I Use When I'm "Tan"

Products I Use When I'm "Tan"

I’ve still been using the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousseand still love it.  Of course it has a few issues such as, not tanning my face as much as I

wish and fading quickly on my hands and feet.  But these issues haven’t stopped me from using it.  I’ve had to switch up products that I use when I have a tan.  So let’s see what I use…

Introducing Sephora's New Collection Pro Airbrush

I stumbled upon Sephora’s new collection of make-up brushes when I was shopping in Sephora. These are my new favorite brushes! I currently own a couple of MAC’s, Bare Minerals, Urban Decay and e.l.f brushes and these S

ephora brushes beat them all. Yes even MAC brushes.

Quick Look:
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Would I buy it again: Yes

I currently own Sephora Pro Airbrush #55 and #57. I thought buying foundation brushes would be a good investment. The brushes stay true to their given name, “airbrush.” These brushes really do give you a airbrush look. I have tried my finger, sponges and different brushes and Sephora’s airbrush brush give the best application. These brushes are really soft and I haven’t lost any bristles in the brush. (A pet peeve of mine is when the hair of the brush ends up on my face during make-up application.)
These brushes are also better than Sephora’s classic collection because the bristles are so much softer which is why I like these brushes over MAC’s make-up brushes. MAC’s brushes are not as soft.

SOHO Brushes Review + Giveaway

If you have been spotting a new line of sleek looking brushes in your local CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or Target, the could be the new SOHO Professional Line. I’ve been trying out 5 of their brush lin

e for the past month and think I have a good impression of them to give a review. This professional line provides stylish yet, ergonomic handles. Do look out for out Facebook page as we will be giving out this set of 5 brushes.

Contour Blush Brush

This is one of my favorite out of the 5 I’ve tried. I love the angled slant, and it picks up powder very well. As compared to my other blush brushes, the size is just great for my cheeks.  It’s not as dense as the Ecotools brush, but I like it that way for my more pigmented blushes. It is soft, and not prickly.
