Asian Product Review: Tony Moly & Fancl Cleansing Oil

This is one for the lazy girls! Here I am introducing you a couple of cleansing oil to throw into your bathroom for a quick removal of makeup right before you cleanse your face — both are equally important for your skin.

Three years ago, I was introduced to the Fancl Cleansing Oil, which was somewhat different from the other makeup removing oil that I am used to — where you need a cotton pad. For this particular cleansing oil, you apply it directly to your face and rub to dissolve the makeup off. The last step requires you to wash the your face with water, the oil would react with the water and “neutralize” the greasiness of the oil, leaving your face makeup free and oil free.

This sort of cleansing oil is appearing in a lot of asian makeup lines, DHC has one, Shiseido has one, and now, Tony Moly has introduced a couple.
