Ten Newly Discovered Beauty Products – The Good, The Bad and the Interesting

Ali won our Facekitt contest a couple of weeks ago, and I approached her to see if she wanted to do a guest post for facekitt, I was delighted that she agreed. 1.  Elf Shimmering Facial Whip ($1)

For just a dollar, this little tube of shimmer may seem like a really good buy.  I’m not going to lie, it’s the cheapest makeup highlighter I have found to date!  Unfortunately, either I got a bad batch or it’s just not a good product.  I purchased it at Target and that same night I tried it – everything seemed fine, a little too glittery for my taste, but it went on really smoothly and easily.  I actually liked it!  I was excited to use it the next day…and then, the following morning, I opened the tube, squeezed it and a watery substance squirted out – literally.  I looked at it, a little perplexed, and then squeezed it again…more watery stuff came out.  I tried kneading it and shaking it but it didn’t make a difference.  Apparently the product completely separated and now it’s pretty much useless.  It could have been great…yes, it COULD have.  My final rating:  INTERESTING with a dash of BAD.
