This is my first fitness post and I am very excited about it! On Saturday (6/23/12) I participated in the St. Louis Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. If you are unfamiliar with the Susan G. Komen organization, it raises money for breast cancer research and is the largest breast cancer organization in the world. The main fundraising comes from the Race for the Cure, which are held not only in the U.S., but also various places around the world. It was very important for me to participate in this race because a few months ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. So let’s get into my experience…
British Summer Time officially began last week and as if on que the sun came out and it has stayed with us ever since. Unfortunately things are due to get chilly again but it has certainly brought to my attention that my body needs some T.L.C after winter. To get my body ready both inside and out for my summer holiday in June to Tunisia, I plan on taking five steps over the course of the next nine weeks. If you are interested in finding out what these five steps are then please read on.
During the holiday season we might not always be taking care of our skin. I know I’m guilty of over-indulging in the party spirit and forgetting about my skin care routine! January is the perfect month to get back to grips with your skin care regime, or even to start a new one! For ten easy steps to a beauty detox, please read on!
Okay, so its the beginning of a new year and everyone always says that they want to be more fit. I bit the bullet a little early this year and started a new workout regimen right after Thanksgiving. I’ve learned some pretty interesting stuff over the last 5 weeks and I wanted to share them you! Because I believe that you have the ability to start a new lifestyle and stick to it!
