After all the rave reviews of Shu Uemura Glow On Blushes, I wanted to try one of them. But with my extensive blush collection, I decided to get a white for for highlighting purposes.

All good things comes in twos and most cosmetics manufacturers love making eyeshadow duos because they can be convenient in a traveling bag. Why is there a hype around duo eyeshadows when it is ultimately restricted to very limited colors? We all know that a simple natural makeup look comprises of 3 colors, a light brow bone color, a medium brown/taupe, and a dark shadow to line your eyes or contour your eye socket. Duos usually cannot achieve the look, but here’s how to turn your Duo in a Trio.

This works for most brown & black shades. Look up at your eyeshadow duos and pick one that has a light color and really dark color. The NARS Duo in Taiga is a great example.
