So I know everybody raved about this product when it first came out. I had my doubts and at the time I was using pencil eyeliner and I didn’t feel the need to try it. I finally tried it months after I saw it on my roommate and it looked reall

y good.

I purchased mine at Target and I am upset at myself because out of hast I bought the Charcoal color when I meant to grab the Blackest of Black. I learned my lesson the hard way I am also trying to make myself feel better that you really can’t tell the difference and also that I already have jet black hair

so having a lot of dark black might make me look too heavy. But that is just what I tell myself!

In the color Charcoal

The product claims that it lasts for 24- hours, waterproof and smudge-proof. I haven’t worn this product for 24 hours but this product really does last a long time. It doesn’t fall and make dark circles around your eye. It is waterproof and I use eye make-up remover to remove this product. Water alone does not remove the eyeliner in it’s entirely. I would say when I accidentally touch my eye it will smudge a little bit. Compared to eye pencils this is the first product that I have tried that doesn’t create dark circles are my

eyes. So in my opinion it is a real winner!

Pro:  It is relatively inexpensive ($7.94)

It is easy to use.

It stays put!

Cons: I have read online that the gel becomes dry. (I haven’t experienced that yet but I have only have it for a month)

Let me know if you have tried a higher end gel liner that you enjoy using!

Disclaimer: I was not contacted by Target or Maybelline to write this review. This is my own opinion.
