So I have kind of given up on finding a mascara that will hold a curl with my stubborn straight. I spoke with a Sephora make-up artist and

told them my frustration and they pointed me in the direction of Japan’s Fairydrops Scandal Queen. They

said that this mascara has fibers to length my eyelashes. This mascara also has a patented (In Japan) mascara brush that helps curl your eyelashes as you apply your mascara.

I really wanted this mascara to work, because I love the packing of the product and it seemed so promising. I felt since this product was from Japan, that they made this product keeping Asian eyelashes in mind. I also have a higher end eyelash curler from Shiseido that should have helped the Fairydrops mascara hold my eyelash curl.

There is also possibility that I could not be using this product correctly and not be getting the whole benefit of this product. But I doubt it because the product should just be slowly brushed onto the eyelashes and curling at the same time.

Patented Brush

Pros:
There are fibers to lengthen your eyelash.
The mascara does a good job defining your lower eyelashes.

Cons:
Doesn’t seem to hold a curl very well.
I get a ring of black mascara residue around my eyes at the end of the day.
The price of $24 for an ok mascara just isn’t worth it for me.

I won’t be purchasing this product again.
Let me know if you have any mascara suggestions for me!

*This mascara was not sent to me for review and is 100% my own and honest opinion of the product.
