With a new puppy, moving into my own place and working overtime I’ve become quite stressed. As I’m sure most of you are at some point
or another. I mean, we’re only human. This post isn’t your traditional beauty or makeup post, but I’ve really been into trying natural products out lately and I have the need to rave about it…
Like a lot of girls out there, I’m addicted to watching YouTube videos, specifically ‘beauty guru’s’. After watching NikkiPhillipi’s latest favourites video, I saw her talk about Dr. Bach’s Rescue Remedy drops and how she uses them to help cope with stress. I immediately went on a hunt for them and found it for only
$9.99 at my local health food store.
According to the Dr. Bach website, this product is described as: “This combination of Bach Flower Remedies is especially beneficial when you find yourself in traumatic situations, such as, stress, emergencies, after getting bad news, before an exam or job interview and all other kind of situations where we suddenly lose balance mentally. The Remedies quickly get us back in our normal balance so that we calmly can deal with any situation.”
Now, I’m not a doctor, or anything like that, so this product could very well be a placebo, but I really think it works… I drop 4 drops into
my drink (like instructed), and after using it for about a week, overall I feel more in control of my stress. This product is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. I don’t use it every day, but if I do I usually take it along with my vitamins.
So, if you’re looking for a natural stress reliever that isn’t loads of money, I would definitely give this a shot. Whether it’s all in my head or it actually works, I love it!
Another tip on natural ways to relief stress is to take your vitamins! I know this is probably something you’ve heard a million times, but after starting taking mine more regularly, I’ve felt healthier and more energetic overall, therefore making me less stressed.
Always consult a doctor before trying anything new you may not be comfortable with. Feel free to look up all the information about the rescue remedy drops on Dr. Bach’s website.
Hope you’re all having a great week so far! And after taking a bit of a writing hiatus, I’m glad to be back!
Linda xx
