As a makeup lover, I am always camouflaged under nasty ingredients like parabens, mineral oil and talc. While I am trying to move away from these additives, natural makeup has yet to monopolize my entire makeup section, I am quite ashamed of th

at. BUT hopefully in future, I can move my entire collection to purely natural and cruelty free makeup (I love animals, so this is more important to me).

Anyway, I started with my skincare regime, and really love these selections. Most of the items I will be talking about are highly affordable. Because people are always asking me where to get these items, I will be linking where to get them, some of the links will contain a ref code, but it is up to you whether you want to use it or not. I do like to say that my reviews are 100% honest.

Nubian Heritage, African Black Soap Bar

Naturalskincare1

Naturalskincare2

I found this while browsing this on iherb.com, there was 1900+ reviews on this and rated at 4.5 stars. Best of all? It’s only $3.27. This is such a holy grail for my acne, before this nothing would work to stop those volcanic cystic acne I had, I have this backup bars of 2-3, and I have to admit that I could not live without this soap! I have the liquid soap version and lotion, and I would just recommend the bar form. I use it every time I cleanse my face, except during my makeup removals, because I use a face polisher for makeup removal cleansing, so I would recommend you use a liquid soap type if you are highly reliant of a face polisher like the clarisonic. This is also a vegan soap.

Beauty Without Cruelty, Facial Cleanser, 3% AHA Complex

450

As I was talking about makeup removing cleansing, I realized that I had forgotten to take photos of this cleanser. I use this AHA cleanser whenever I use my face polisher. This however, is just something very mild like cetaphil daily cleansing soap. I like it ALOT, but this does not help my acne, it does help with cleaning up dirt on my face without stripping the oils. Nelson Bach USA, Pure & Clear, Acne Treatment Gel

This is such a delight for spot healing, it heals pimples quickly and I have gone through at least 3 tubes of this! The gel dries into a film like substance and binds to your skin, and after

1-2 days, it peels off revealing brand new skin. But be careful not to apply too much, because I had accidentally done so on my pimple, and when it dried, it looked even worse for the first 2 days, during which everyone thought that I had burnt my face. But after 2 days, I peeled it off to reveal new skin and it was all good… [Link here]

Rose Hip Seed Oil

Naturalskincare6

This is the best thing that came into my life after the black soap, it’s great as a healing + moisturizing + anti bacterial element to my skin. I have acne prone skin with a high tendency to touch my face with my hands. I try

very hard not to, but… every time when I realize that I am touching my face, a couple of hours later, small bumps of pimples growing somewhere on my skin. But, whenever I use this and accidentally touch my face, I don’t get any new pimples. It helps so well with pimple healing too, I use this mostly at night, apply it to all over my face, paste cotton pads on both sides on my cheeks (so as not to stick to my pillow), and go to sleep. I love this because when I wake up, I can see my pimples getting less red! [Link here]

Lavender & Eucalyptus essential oil

Naturalskincare7

I don’t apply this directly on my face (PLEASE DON’T). These are 100% essential oils, and I drip 2-3 drops to a spray bottle and spray it on my linen everynight. Not only do they smell great, they are great in terms of killing material on your pillow. [Link here]

Reviva Labs, 10% Glycolic Acid Cream

This acts like very much like a chemical peel for your skin. Your complexion will look horrendous for the first few days, but what it does it that it promotes skin renewal. After a few days, your scars will appear better. [Link here]

ANTI-AGING Visage Complexion Moisturizer

This is such an amazing smelling moisturize that work so well whenever I have dry patches on my skin. It also decreases redness on your skin. Before this, I don’t really trust any particular brand of moisturize (because I am acne prone), everything before this broke me out in one way or another. Truly a moisturizer that doesn’t clog my pores. LOVE! [Link here]

Alba Botanica, Facial Mask, Papaya Enzyme

Naturalskincare21

This is a gel form, and stays gel like forever. It smells very tropical and it’s really nice to my skin if I apply it once in a while (not too often). It stings like the AHA, but it’s a milder form of chemical peel. [Link here]

Naruko Marjoram & Lavender Classical Brightening Night Gelly

Naturalskincare12

[ampm] super triple HA + B3 brightening complex

Naturalskincare13

For the two items, it’s also one of my holy grails for scar removal, I am on the second tub of the lavender night gelly. In days where I don’t want to use the rose hip seed oil, I use both together the tube serum + night gelly. I have a more conclusive review here. [Link here]

Organicskincare17

Lastly… I swear by this but it’s a cup of fresh apple juice (not the store bought, but from the juicer!). A cup a day not only keeps the doctor away, but for me, the pimples!

I wonder if there are others who are out there who loves organic skincare as well. What are your favorite? Share with me your findings because I would love to try them out!
