After having this product for about 2 months now, I’ve finally come to an opinion about it… And yes it really did take me this long! I was back and forth constantly about whether or not I liked it. Keep reading if you

want to know what my final rating of this was…

So my final rating on MAC’s Added Goodness Fluidline is:

8/10

MAC Added Goodness is a creamy fluidline that is described as a “blackened mauve”. In some light it has a little shimmer, and some it is completely matte. It is a gel eyeliner that is best applied with a stiff angled or pencil brush. Personally I apply it with a pencil brush, but either work well.

Pros

- creamy texture

- amazing colour selection

- packaging

- price (yes, surprisingly I find this affordable! It’s CAN $15 but lasts so long! As you can see in the below photo, I’ve barely dented this and I’ve already had it 2 months and used it quite frequently

- colour selection (MAC carries quite a few great coloured fluidlines, perfect for whatever your makeup style is)

CONS

- oil eyelids don’t hold this colour very well (smudging throughout the day)

- sometimes needs multiple applications for rich colour payoff

That’s really the only cons I could think of… I have no idea why I didn’t fall in love with it to begin with. I suppose because it was more creamy than Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner, and I just wasn’t used to its smooth texture. But now I really love this product and find myself reaching for it more now over my Maybelline Black Gel Eyeliner because it’s summer and I want a bit of a softer lined look. It’s extremely good quality and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a new gel eyeliner.

Have you tried it? What do you think?
