Hey everyone! Spring is my absolute favorite season…maybe because my birthday is in May, but also because I love all the beauty trends that come with this season. I made a list of five things that are must haves for me for Spring and wanted to share them with you all.
1) A coral blush- Benefit Coralista: My newest blush obsession! Benefit has easily become one of my favorite makeup brands and I absolutely love their blushes. The packaging is so cute and smells amazing. Honestly I cannot say enough amazing things about this product. The color is a beautiful pinky-coral that has just the right amount of shimmer.

2) Light pink lips- Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Lovechild: I love this color and product so much…so much I’ve been wearing it constantly. This is not my first Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color, but it is the most wearable. It’s like a lipstick, but is glossy…so no lip gloss is needed.

3) Makeup setting spray- Urban Decay All Nighter: This is just the travel size because I wanted to try it out before buying the whole size. And holy cow, this product works amazingly! The name says it all; my makeup stays on literally all night.

4) Lip balm- LUSH cosmetics Honey Trap: I kind of bought this on a whim during my last visit to LUSH. And I swear their sales people are so convincing when recommending products, so when the girl suggested the lip balm…I just couldn’t say no. I’m really enjoying this lip balm. It smells good and makes my lips feel nice. The LUSH girl also told me the lip balms were made so that you won’t get addicted to them, a la Burts Bees. But what I like to do with this lip balm is put it on before I put on any other lip product, just because I feel it really helps my lips feel moisturized.

5) Glowy highlighted skin- Tarte Amazonian clay shimmering powder in Champagne and Tarte Smooth Operator: I got both of these products in a set, but they are sold separately. The shimmering powder is just a great normal highlighter to put on your cheekbones, brow bone, and where ever else you like to highlight. I’ve really been into champagne colored highlights lately, but this one definitely does not replace my Benefit’s Watts Up highlighter. As for Smooth Operator, mix a little bit of this in with your foundation and it is supposed to help brighten your skin and give you a “glowy” affect. What I really like about this product is that it really has no shimmer to it and it can almost be worn as a foundation itself. Tarte actually has a Smooth Operator foundation with SPF 20, which I may want to try out

6) Bonus essential- Sunscreen: I learned the hard way this past weekend that I need to start wearing sunscreen everyday again. In Missouri Spring is in full force, including the sun. Plus having very fair skin means I have to be even more careful. The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer is a favorite of mine, but Walgreens makes an identical sunscreen that is the same exact thing.
