I’ve found recently that I have set products that I use everyday. They sometimes vary, but I will usually end up going for the same products over and over again. They work for me, I know they’re good products and if you’re interested to read about some of my all time favourite products to use during the day, please keep on reading!

My favourite two foundations for everyday use are Bourjois Healthy Mix and MAC’s Face and Body.  Nicole has written a review here of the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation.  I love it because I can apply it with my hands and it looks like skin.  Very natural looking and not too heavy coverage for daytime.  MAC’s Face and Body is also great for day as you can build the coverage.  The water based foundation looks so natural and dewy.

My current favourite powders are the Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder and the Collection 2000 Pressed Powder.  The Chanel Loose Powder is gorgeous, sits beautifully on the skin and will take away any shine that I have.  The Collection 2000 Pressed Powder is also nice, I used to have a Chanel Pressed Powder too, however it’s run out and the Collection 2000 powder was a fraction of the price at £1.99!  It stinks to high heaven (a bad baby powder smell!) but looks lovely on the skin.  Since the smell only lasts a little while I can live with it!

The two blushes that I use most at the moment are the Body Shop Baked Blush in Petal and the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in 20 Peach Satin.  Both are shimmery (I need to find some matte blushes!) but they give me a lovely healthy glow when the weather is miserable in Scotland!

My favourite brow kit is the Sleek Brow Kit in light.  I use this every single day at the moment.  It’s amazing value, under £8 and you get a brow cream, a powder, two brushes and a set of tweezers. Very handy for travelling!  I only use the powder as I find the cream to be a little dark for my eyebrows but the powder is perfect.  Lasts all day!

My favourite concealer of all time is the Collection 2000′s Lasting Perfection Concealer.  It’s amazing, it covers acne scarring, blemishes, dark circles and (according to my friend Emily) bruises! It’s amazing, I highly recommend it! However, for reducing puffiness and covering dark circles Garnier’s Concealer Eye Roll On is also excellent.  It feels so cooling on the skin, which is great in the morning, and the concealer also works really well which I wasn’t expecting!

Cream eyeshadows are a huge part of my daily routine. They are so quick and easy to use! (Check out my cream eyeshadow tutorial here.)  My favourites to use during the day are (clockwise from top centre) Benefit’s Creaseless Creams in Samba-dy Loves Me and Honey Bunny, Maybelline Color Tattoos in Tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze, and ELF’s Cream Eyeshadow in Bronze (though this one does need a primer under it).

The two liners I love to use during the day are kohl and liquid liners, just because they are quick for me.  I smudge kohl on my upper lashline.  I either use Urban Decay’s kohl pencil in Zero or Whiskey or the L’Oreal Carbon Gloss Super Liner. It’s amazing and so easy to use – the felt tip applicator is great!

If I use powder eyeshadows during the day I always reach for one of my neutral palettes. I can create a range of day time looks using these! I’m a bit addicted to neutrals… Can you tell? Pictured are the Balm’s Nude’tude, the Naked palette, the Naked 2 palette and a MAC quad I made up containing Shroom, Patina, Satin Taupe and Smut.

My favourite everyday bronzer is Benefit’s Hoola bronzer.  It’s matte and perfect for contouring and bronzing.  Because it’s matte it’s very suitable for day time, even though a bit of shimmer doesn’t hurt in Scotland in this weather!

The lipstick I reach for most during the day is Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipstick in Vintage Pink.  It’s a gorgeous, my lips but better colour, totally easy to wear and I find it to be quite long lasting. Perfect with winged eye liner.  I also loved tinted lip balms during the day, one of my favourites is Maybelline’s Baby Lips in Peach Kiss which Linda sent me from Canada. It smells amazing!
