This past weekend I went to my first ever CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet).  The one I went to was in Osage Beach, for any other Missourians out there looking for a CCO.  Osage Beach has two different CCO’s, but I only had time to go into one.  To find a CCO in your state use this link.  Let’s get into what I found/purchased…

I was very excited to see that this CCO had Bobbi Brown items because I had wanted to try out her concealer for a while.  For $15.50 I got the older version of the creamy concealer, the one without the powder.  I think this is a great find and so far I really liking it.  For those wondering, I got the color Ivory.

Then I got three MAC items.  The first is a big bounce shadow in the shade Trophy ($11.75).  When I first saw this product I immediately thought of Urban Decay’s Sin eye shadow, which is my absolute favorite.  This color is gorgeous and looks like liquid metal and the MAC site says that these are supposed to feel cool when you apply them (think Burts Bees).  And funny fact, this color is still available on the MAC website.

The last two MAC items are both Lipglasses.  From the Surf Baby collection that came out summer 2011, I got Strange Potion.  I actually ended up getting this one by mistake of the woman working there that got it from the back, but it was a happy mistake because I love this color.  It’s a gorgeous coral, which will be perfect for spring and summer.  I already have the perfect pairing for this gloss; I’m planning on putting it over Benefit’s Cha Cha tint.

And my last item from the CCO was from the Venomous Villains collection in the color Devilishly Stylish.  I thought this collection was adorable so I’m glad to add something from it to my makeup collection.  The color is a very pretty shimmery mid-toned pink.

Here are the swatches for all the products above:

I also wanted to share five nail polishes that I’ve picked up in the past two weeks.  I love bright colors and have been wearing them a lot lately because I’m over winter and ready for spring.  I got three colors from Essie, Play Date, Cute as a Button, and Mod Square (all cream finishes).  Play Date is a supposedly new color, that’s a fun purple.  Mod Square is the perfect pink that I’ve been painting my nails with a lot lately.  And Cute as a Button is a coral that is mainly pink.  I really love Essie polishes and they dominate my nail polish collection.  Also while at Walgreens I saw Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme wear in Pacific Blue, a color I’ve heard a lot about.  Wow, this color is beautiful and very opaque.  Then lastly at the mall I saw the OPI Holland collection and allowed myself to buy one.  The color I chose was Red Lights Ahead…Where? and it’s a pretty bright red almost orange color.

Here are all of the nail polish swatches with two coats:

*In the next week or so be on the lookout for a giveaway I will be doing involving the OPI Holland collection.*

Have you ever been to a CCO?
