…I’m ashamed of myself! I bought more make-up before I used up 10 products! As most of you know already, most of the Facekitt world is revolving around the amazing resurfacing of “Project Pan“. I convinced myself to do it after a while but I should’ve known better, how can I expect myself to walk into a drugstore and walk out with no make-up? – …ashamed! I feel like an addict, I walked past the beauty isle and my palms got all sweaty and the room started to spin (okay, thats an exaggeration – but still!) I picked up a few of the Color Tattoo Eyestudio Eyshadow’s and I ripped them open before I even got in my room! – addict? I was going to review one of them because I figured that they’re all pretty much the same thing – boy was I wrong! They may share the same name, but some are a lot better than others! In this post (because I haven’t decided which one is my favorite, I’m going to review the one I’m positive is the worst of the bunch!) – I think it’s the only matte one I saw, so lets start there!

One of my All-time favorite shadows from M.A.C. is Satin Taupe! If you don’t have it in your collection, you must go and get it NOW! So when I was browsing through the Maybelline paint pot look a-likes, I came across “#35 Tough as Taupe”. I figured this would be an awesome base for Satin Taupe and it would be a match made in make-up heaven.

Why do I do this to myself? I always have such high hopes for something only to be  seriously depressed about wasting money on make-up! And if some of you read my last post on the Unlucky 7, you know how much I HATE WASTING MONEY ON MAKE-UP, and it hurt even more because I’m on a project pan diet!

This color is creamy, but not in a good way. It’s a chalky creamy mess! I don’t think it’s the product I hate, I think it’s just the color because I love a few of the other colors I got. (That I may review in the upcoming weeks – Maybe a Color Tattoo Kit for specific eye colors?)

In regards to how they stack up against M.A.C. Paint pots, (5 grams)

I think they are an amazing alternative! I can’t rave about them enough! They are bigger in size, but less product (4 grams) than a paintpot. But, if you’re looking for something that will come close to a dupe for a cheaper price, (I paid $6.89[USD] each) I would tell you to run and pick up a few of these! ( not including Taupe!)

Are they good bases? They are great quality and are very pigmented.

I am defintiley going to pick up a few more of these! – Maybe all of them! I’m sorry Project Pan, I tried!

*Sad make-up face*
