Happy Valentines Day everyone!  So for Valentines Day I asked my boyfriend to get me the Sigma Mrs. Bunny Blue Travel Kit and he surprised me by getting me the Essential Kit instead.  The kit arrived last Wednesday so he gave them to me early and I was so excited.  A big thank you to Michael, who I’m sure will read this!

I’m already so in love with these brushes.  For starters, this set is so cute.  I absolutely love the pink with the blue, and the writing on the brushes is in silver holographic.  And the packaging the set came in was equally adorable.

The difference between the Travel ($59) and Essential Kits ($109) are that the Travel Kit comes with less brushes (7 compared to 12) and I also think the Travel Kit brushes are smaller in size as well.  And if you don’t like the color scheme of the Mrs. Bunny set, but still want vegan brushes then the Mr. Bunny sets are for you.  They are offered in both the Travel and Essential Kits, but are black and silver.

Currently the Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit is sold out, which happens frequently, but I tweeted Sigma (@SigmaBeauty) and they responded within 24 hours telling me the set would be back in stock within the week. I checked everyday after that and within two days the set was back in stock so I reccomend checking everyday or tweeting Sigma if you want this set.  A direct link to the Bunny sets can be found here.

The Bunny collection set by Sigma is vegan and all the brushes have Sigmax fibers.  These are the first Sigma brushes I’ve owned, I’ve only used makeup brushes from Mary Kay before, so these brushes are a definate upgrade for me.

The Essential Kit comes with 12 brushes:

Large Powder F30- “Very dense with a rounded top.  Idealto apply powder products in face and body.”

Large Angled Contour F40- “The angled shape makes this brush ideal to apply blush or contour shades.”

Duo Fibre F50- “Specially designed to generate an airbrushed finish when used to apply blush, highlight shades and foundation.”

Foundation F60- “Can be used to apply liquid or cream foundation.  Recommended to apply moisturizers and conceal large areas.” *I’m so excited to try this brush out!*

Concealer F70- “The rounded tapered, flat shape makes this brush ideal to conceal the under eye area.”

Tapered Blending E40- “Rounded and tapered top.  Specially designed to apply and blend color on the crease.”

Large Shader E60- “Flat shape is ideal of cream formulas and eye shadow primers.”

Medium Angled Shading E70- “Angled, tapered, flat top.  Ideal to apply highlight shades underneath the eyebrow and on the inner corners.”

Eye Shading E55- “Soft and dense with a rounded finish.  Can be used to apply pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments.”

Small Angle E65- “Essential for the application of gel or cream eye liner on the upper and lower lash line.”

Pencil E30- “Precise application of color on the crease, outer corner and lower lash line.”

Eyeliner E05- “An extra-fine tipped brush that delivers a precise, firm, even stroke to line the eyes.”

*Sigma is now offering a promo code for the month of February, so just enter LOVE2012 at checkout for 10% your entire purchase and you will also recieve a free gift.  The gift I recieved was an E25 blending brush.*

Also for a present from my boyfriend, I recieved a Wildfox Couture baggy beach jumper.  It’s perfect for today especially and I’ve loved wearing it the past couple days (it’s super soft and comfy).  These particular styles have been out of stock for awhile, so if you’ve been eyeing them, then I would act fast. Here is a direct link.

Do you own any Sigma brushes, if yes which brush is your favorite? And did you get anything fun for Valentines Day?
