Way back “in the day”, when I started using Leave-in Conditioners, and falling in love with them, my mom give me Enjoy Leave-in Conditioner because she didn’t like it. Don’t you love it when moms do that?? I used that product everyday. I loved the way it smelled, I love how soft it made my color treated hair feel, and it didn’t weigh it down or add any extra grease the next day. Sounds like perfection right? Well, when I went to re-purchase the product, I couldn’t find it anywhere!! I was so disappointed. Finally, I found a different product to replace it that I love. But that’s a story for a different day!

A few months back, I was leisurely strolling down the hair aisles in ULTA, looking for something useless to spend too much money on, and there it was. A deacon of hope in the world of crappy hair products: Enjoy hair care!! I must have jumped in excitement and I knew I had to buy my beloved Leave-in Conditioner. Problem was, I had just bought a new bottle of the other product, so I didn’t need any just yet. But I did need a new Shampoo and Conditioner. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the products I was using before, but I had just started highlighting my hair again and needed something more. I decided on Enjoy’s Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner, and I am so happy I did!

And my kitten likes it too!! :)

This shampoo and conditioner is accompanied by 2 others: Rejuvenating and Hydrating. I was drawn to this one because of the name, Luxury. And let me tell you, that’s exactly what it is. The consistency of both of them is very thick. Its rather hard to get used to at first, but well worth it. I found that it was easier to get the product of when I stored them upside down. And since the shampoo is sulfate-free (another plus), it doesn’t lather that much. I used about a quarter size amount and that was more than enough.

The conditioner can double as a treatment with how moisturizing it is. I made sure to not put it on my roots and left it in for about 3-4 minutes while I shaved, and washed my body. After I wash it out, my hair feels so soft and manageable. If you have a problem with knotty hair, this conditioner will definitely help.I literally used a dime size amount of this product, and that was more than enough.

Also, I noticed almost no fading in my color. I have highlights and low lights in my hair, and over the course of 6-8 weeks, I notice that my hair usually gets a lot lighter because the low lights fade. The color stayed almost exactly the same over time! Can’t get much better than that.

One downfall to this product is that it is a little pricy. It is the most expensive of the brand at $24 for the shampoo and $27 for the conditioner, but you don’t need to use much product so it will last you awhile.

So if you have a little room in your budget for an amazing shampoo and conditioner and are looking for something on the hydrating side, I would definitely throw in Enjoy for consideration. You at buy them at ULTA and on Enjoy’s website.
