Taking care of my skin is very important to me and I find myself trying a lot of different skin care and makeup remover products.  So I wanted to share with you all what skin care and makeup removers I love and have been working for me.

Makeup Removers- I wear a lot of waterproof makeup, so these products are amazing to take my makeup off at night.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes:  I love these because wipes make removing makeup so easy and they smell good to me.  The only flaw with these is that they make my skin feel a bit oily after I use them.  So I always make sure to wash my face with water after using them.

Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover:  This product is absolutely amazing, especially for removing tough waterproof makeup.  I will say again, this product leaves my skin oily, but water fixes that.  I’ve repurchased this product twice, so I really love this product.

Skin Care- I would say that I have a combination skin type, I do get blemishes here and there, but I do not suffer from extreme acne or anything like that.  My skin is also very sensitive, so these products work for me and if your skin sounds similar to mine, then these products may work for you too.

Alba Deep Sea Facial Mask: I love using facial masks because they allow myself to relax and get in some “me” time.  The first few times I used this mask my skin looked red, like I got a little bit of a sunburn, but that went away after a few minutes.  So people with very sensitive skin may not want to use this product.

Yes to Tomatoes Deep Cleansing Facial Pads: When I first bought these I had never tried anything from this brand.  I love that they are natural and they smell good.  Unfortunately I’ve found that they dry out easily, but they do work.  I also like that these are affordable and come with a lot of product (50 pads).

Aveda Outer Peace Acne Relief Pads:  I’ve purchased this product twice, but am currently out of them.  These are pretty pricey (about $32), but I absolutely love them.  I actually bought the Yes to Tomatoes pads to see if they would replace these, but these are much better.  What I like most is that the pads are very wet, even to the last one and I feel like they really work.

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser and Foaming Scrub:  My favorite thing about these products is the smell.  I personally love the smell of grapefruit because it smells so fresh and clean.  The foaming scrub exfoliates my skin so I only use it once to twice a week, but the cleanser can be used every night.  Just make sure that when you use the cleanser to get every little bit of it off because I didn’t a few nights and it really dried out my skin.

 

Mary Kay Velocity Lightweight Moisturizer:  I’ve been using this moisturizer since I was in middle school.  My mom introduced me to Mary Kay makeup and I’ve used it exclusively up until the past couple of words.  This product is great and very lightweight (like the name says) and it is great to mix with foundations.

I highly recommend any of these products if you are looking for new skin care products!
