I absolutely love nail polish and the trends for fall. Here are my picks that I think would look great on your nails for fall!

Starting with the gold color and going clockwise (natural lighting): The Full Monty, Rage, Buy Me A Cameo, Island Hopping, Chinchilly, You Don’t Know Jacques, Get In The Expresso Lane, Aruba Blue, Swimsuit…Nailed It, Shower Together, Trophy Wife, British Racing Green, Honk If You Love OPI, Wicked, Congeniality Is My Middle Name, Queen Vic, Bachelorette Bash, Color To Diner For

OPI:

Congeniality Is My Middle Name- From the Miss Universe collection; this color is beautiful in the bottle.  It is almost a cranberry color, but more purple than red that is shimmery.  Takes three coats to be completely opaque.

Honk If You Love OPI- I fell in love with this color the moment I saw it.  This shade is a great plum that can almost look black (from the Traveling America collection).  Honk If You Love OPI is similar to Lincoln Park After Dark, but is definitely a plum and doesn’t dry as dark.

You Don’t Know Jacques- This is a known color from OPI and I was skeptical when I first bought it, but I love it.  I really haven’t seen a color like this before; it is a brown with grey undertones and has a crème finish.  When painted on your nails it isn’t too dark or too light and just looks really chic.

Get In The Expresso Lane- Another color from the Touring America collection, Get In The Expresso Lane is a dark coffee-like brown.  This is another almost black color that looks great when painted on your nails.

Color To Diner For- Nothing is more classic than red nails.  I had been looking for a good red polish for fall and this is it.  This shade is more of a crimson/ruby red with gold shimmer (from the Traveling America collection) and plus the name is really fun, like all OPI polishes.

Swimsuit…Nailed It- Another polish from the Miss Universe collection and this is a must have polish.  This is an electric blue with turquoise shimmer/glitter that in the bottle is gorgeous, but even prettier on your nails.  When I have this on my nails it almost looks holographic and I could stare at it forever.

essie:

Trophy Wife- This is a color essie is known for and it is beautiful.  I would describe this color as the perfect peacock turquoise blue.  This shade has a sheen to it and a silver shimmer undertone.

Aruba Blue- One of my favorite colors ever!  Aruba Blue is a sapphire blue with almost silver and lighter blue shimmer to it.  When it is dried on your nails it almost can look navy, but up close it’s so pretty and you can see the small glitter in it.

Chinchilly- This was the first grey nail polish I have ever seen that I’ve liked.  Chinchilly is a very unique color because it dries with a taupe-like color.  I personally think this color looks really chic and modern.

Buy Me A Cameo- The perfect satin finish nude.  Takes about three coats to get completely opaque.

Wicked- Wicked is a perfect fall polish because it is dark crimson/purple almost black shade.  I love dark nails for fall because it goes great with the trends for this season and it really ties a look together.

Island Hopping- Looks like a mauve with a grey undertone, but when painted on nails and toes this color looks more purple.

Bachelorette Bash- This is a wildcard compared to the other colors because it is a hot pink.  I personally feel like this color can still be pulled off in the fall.  On the nail wheel it looks red, but it is definitely hot pink.  Of course it dries darker and almost looks like a berry color.

Butter London:

British Racing Green- Jewel tones are always on trend for fall and since I already had a sapphire and ruby color, I needed an emerald shade.  In the bottle it looks really shimmery, but when on your nails it can be hard to see the shimmer unless you look really closely.  But this color is definitely on trend and not like any other color I own.

Queen Vic- If there was a perfect berry color, then this polish would be it.  Queen Vic is a perfect mix between a red, pink, and purple and the crème finish looks great on your nails.  Butter london has really surprised me with their great consistency and this polish is no exception.

The Full Monty- I did not have a gold polish in my collection and I liked that this color was shimmery, but with no chunky glitter.  Gold is a great color for any season, but I can really see myself wearing this color a lot this fall.

Orly:

Rage- The only way to describe this polish is to say that it is a rose gold color with silver glitter.  There is a lot of glitter in this polish so it looks almost like expensive foil or minx nails.  Rose gold has been very popular recently and why not add some sparkle to your nails?

China Glaze:

Shower Together- This shade is a peacock/teal crème finish.  When I saw this color I thought it would be great for fall.  The consistency is great and takes three coats to be opaque.

Hope you enjoyed this post and are inspired to have fabulous nails for fall!
