Facekitt is a multi-authored beauty network, the team blogs unique opinions on makeup, cosmetics or anything beauty related. Founded on 5 October 2011, it started with 1 multi-authored blog which was quickly expanded to a network of Facekitt US, UK, &  Asia, by July of 2012. The writers are a passionate group of beauty gurus living around the globe. LAUREN GATCOMBE -  St. Louis, MO

Lauren has always loved makeup, but has really gotten into it in the past year.  She loves experimenting with new products and is always on the hunt for her next “holy grail” find. She is not afraid to try anything!  She especially has a passion for nail polish and is rarely ever seen without her nails painted. She discovered the YouTube beauty community last fall and became hooked… more like obsessed.  She is majoring in Journalism and she absolutely loves to write, read, and go shopping.  Her mom always says that she enjoys the finer things in life and Lauren would not disagree.

PEARL HU - Georgia

Pearl has always loved blogging and make-up, so to be able to combine the two is a thrill for her. Pearl believes in mixing high-end and drug store brands to achieve a look that highlights your best face forward. After years with experimenting with different brands she hopes to give advice to take out the guess work in products. Besides spending her free time getting giddy at the make-up counters, she is studying, getting coffee, and watching T.V. shows like “How I Met Your Mother” and “New Girl.”

LINDA JANSEN - Red Deer, Alberta

Linda is 22 years old living in Alberta, Canada. She’s a mobile specialist by day, an online student by night and a makeup junkie around the clock. Between work and studying to be a wedding/event planner she not only love to experiment with makeup, but research new things in the beauty market. She also believes that beauty and makeup products go beyond something skin deep, and help develop a confidence that can make every girl feel beautiful.

Alexa is a news/editorial writer from Texas and has always loved the thrill of chasing a good story, but beauty and style were always her secret love. She enjoys finding out the latest beauty secrets as well as tracking down all of the newest fashion trends. She utilizes her expertise in finding the most hard-hitting news story and translates that mentality into her beauty guru side. She believes that it doesn’t take makeup and fashion to be beautiful. ELIZABETH KLASSNER

Elizabeth Klassner is a recent college grad from Scranton, Pennsylvania.   When she isn’t working as an administrative assistant, she’s working part-time at a cosmetics store.  Some of Liz’s favorite cosmetic and skincare brands include Benefit Cosmetics, L’Oreal, Clinique and Philosophy. Working in cosmetics, Liz has been able to test a variety of different products, as well as discuss products with her amazing co-workers.  Although she loves finding and learning about all cosmetics, she really enjoys finding new lip products and creating the perfect smoky eye.  Her style inspiration is Adele.  When she isn’t working, Liz enjoys watching some of her favorite television shows, which include “The Golden Girls” and “Downton Abbey.”

JENNI HEARNSHAW – Southport, England

Jenni is a 25 year old make-up artist, hairstylist and face/body painter. She has recently qualified in a Level 3 Theatrical Media Make -up and has previously studied Level 2 Theatrical Media Make-up and Hairdressing NVQ2. She has a 2:1 BA Degree in History of Art from Leeds University and is loving the creativity in being a make-up artist. She has experience in fashion, beauty, weddings and SFX and was a make-up artist at the Miss England finals for 2011 and 2012, as well as being part of the make-up team for the Miss World Final 2011.
